Chris Brown, Drake Offered $1 Million Each to Fight in Boxing Ring

The infamous fight between singer Chris Brown and rapper Drake now has the attention of a celebrity boxing promoter, who wants to cash out on the nightclub fight between the two celebrities. He is offering them $1 million each to fight it out in the ring.

Damon Feldman, the promoter, said he had asked Rihanna to be a ring girl, but that was very unlikely to happen.

Feldman was quoted as saying that he has the financial support of businessman Alki David, who will be donating $1 million to a charity that facilitates abused women if the fight actually takes place.

Commenting on the details about the fight, he said it would entail three-minute-long rounds with the boxers adorned in oversized gloves and protective headgear.

Feldman is not new to this. Previously, he has arranged fights of known people including ex-baseball outfielder Jose Canseco, Lindsay Lohan’s dad, Micheal, and Rodney King.

He said so far he had not gotten a response from either party. Both Drake and Brown are mum about the offer on Twitter as well.

Police authorities on the other hand are still investigating the nightclub fight that took place between the singer and rapper and their respective staffs.

The fight took place in the South Village Club, where Drake and his friends were partying and Brown was there too in the VIP section. Brown’s representatives have said that he “did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury." The brawl between Drake and Brown left Brown with a deep cut on his chin and there was much conjecture on social media that the argument spurred due to talk about Rihanna that both men have dated. However a source close to Brown told CNN that the argument was not about Rihanna. Tony Parker, San Antonio Spurs guard, was also injured in the fight and is suing the nightclub for $20 million for the injuries.

The suit claims that the owners and managers of the nightclub were “negligent in permitting Drake's entourage and Brown's entourage to be in the club at the same time despite known tension between the two” and asserts that the management did not provide ample security to deal with the untoward incident.

Feldman said that the location for the boxing match would be either Las Vegas or Los Angeles. It is yet to be seen if this plan would materialize. If it does, it will surely spark a media frenzy.
