Martial court has convicted Brigadier Ali Khan of having links with banned outfit. He was accused of igniting rebellion in connivance with a banned organization for establishment of Khilafat. He was arrested on May, 2011 from Rawalpindi where he planned to materialize his conspiracy. Last year, he was put on trial under the supervision of Major General in Sialkot and declared convicted after one year on June 20, 2012. While recording their statements, five military officers as witnesses of prosecution told the court that the accused had urged them to rebellion against the state.
