PESHAWR, June 25. Mustaqbil Pakistan (MP) has vowed to stabilize ailing economy, revising of foreign policy and improving law and order situation in the country if they came into power in next general elections, saying that corrupt political system put the people of the country in endless miseries and sufferings.
Speaking at news conference here at press club on Monday, the MP Chairman Nadeem Mumtaz Quershi formally announced 80-pages manifesto of his party, saying that his political setup consisted on professionals i.e. Engineers, doctors and lawyers while no former legislators and politicians would be allowed to join the party.
He maintained the current political leaders were not eligible to run the country affairs and created several issues like worst power outages, dwindling economy, deteriorating law and order situation for the innocent citizens.
He informed that Election Commission of Pakistan accredited his party Mustaqbil Pakistan in 2010 while presently they had 15,000 registered members from across the country and the party would contest the next general elections for both national and provincial assemblies; seats from various constituencies including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Accompanied by General Secretary MP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Shahzad, Mr Quershi further said that rulers pushed the country at the verge of destruction by preferring theur personal interests over national interests and political nepotism in granting key slots of the prestige institutions to blue eyed people who were not eligible for such responsible positions was one of the basic reasons behind the poor situation of the country.
According to its manifesto MP would focus on protection of women rights, freedom of press, promotion of higher education, enhancement of energy and agriculture sectors to put the country on the track of progress and development
