(Check It Out! Photos!) Over 1,700 men and women nude volunteers gathered and posed in front of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Germany on June 23, 2012.
Hundreds of naked volunteers which painted with red and gold marked the opening of the 2012 Munich Opera Festival together with American photographerfor his latest art installation.
The 45-year-old photographer is best known for organizing large-scale naked shoots. He already collected 75 human installations photographs around the world since 1994.
His latest creation is the scenes from Richard Wagner's opera ‘Der Ring des Nibelungen’ named ‘The Ring’.
According to Spencer Tunick:
“I'm very interested in the history of the city, the close links with Richard Wagner's work, but also the dark chapters of the city's history and the building structures from the Nazi era.”
