In newly published version of his diaries Tony Blair's former director of communications 1997 - 2003 Alisdair Campbell apparently has revealed more in this latest publication than when he appeared before the Chilcott enquiry over Iraq.
The Chilcott report is due to be published in a couple of months or so.
He was under oath when appearing before the Chilcott enquiry and having viewed the televised prrogramme I thought as was his style when in Downing street that he obfuscated.
His memory of events relating to the Iraq war seems to be rather more inclusive in his diaries.
The difference could be that the enquiry did not ask the right questions. In any event there has to be acase for the Chilcott enquiry to convene again in the light of new eviudence and the long awaited report postponed to accomodate it.
My suspicion is that Tony Blair could be called to appear again and faced with Campbell's latest revelations squirm in the process.
For what it is worth I am of the opinion that neither of them can be trusted and their pursuit of monetary reward outdoes their integrity.
