Cervical cancer is a malignant neoplasm of cervix or cervical area caused by abnormal cells growth with alternation of cells DNA and is the second most common cancer that kills more than 3 million women. Cervix is a lower part of woman’s womb or uterus that opens at the top of the vagina. Cervix acts as transition area for vaginal lining where the development of the fetus takes place. Cervical cancer starts in the cervix but if left untreated, it can spread slowly to other parts of the body. It develops from a pre -cancerous condition known as Dysplasia.
