On 25 and 26 June 2012 the Bulgarian athlete Ventsislav Vencislavov Angelov will attempt to improve the listed in the Guinness Book of record for the greatest distance travelled for 48 hours with a mountain bike. The current record of 571 km (http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/12000/greatest-distance-cycled-in-48-hours-on-a-mountain-bike) belongs to Dave Buchanan (UK) and was made by 13 to 15 May 2011.

Ventsislav Vencislavov Angelov will try to travel the distance from Sofia to Rousse (Bulgaria) and back (620 km).
