53-year-old mom Deb Thompson went to a Goodwill store in Coon Rapids, Minn. on Monday to buy a pair of jeans for her daughter. She bought a pair of jean capris with bling on them for $3.99. After returning home she was surprised to discover a real diamond ring worth $6,500 in the right pocket of the jeans.
“I took the ring out of my pocket and I sat on the floor with my daughter and her fiancé. I put my arm out in the center, and I opened it in my palm and we all just went, 'Wow. Oh my God,” Thompson told the ABC News. Now Thompson along with Goodwill is trying to find the real owner of the ring. Goodwill posted Thompson’s ‘Lost and found’ story on their Facebook page.
