Supermodel Giselle Bundchen tops as the highest paid model; who are among on the top ten list

Brazilian supermodel Giselle Bundchen is still the highest paid model with annual earnings of $45 million from May 2011 to May 2012. A model from IMG agency shills for brands such as Pantene, Esprit, and Versace, and makes a percentage of profits on Ipanema flip-flops and other products bearing her name. She racks up modeling gigs, endorsement deals, and independent licensing ventures, but still has time to be a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Environmental Program. Last week she announced that she looking for a new breed of model in her hometown in Brazil.

Another model from IMG agency Kate Moss followed Bundchen as the next highest earning model with $9.2 million for a year. Kate known for her endorsements with Longchamp, Mango, Rimmel and Vogue eyewear. Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova under DNA model is on number 3 with $8.6 million earnings. Her campaigns with Guerlain and Calvin Klein Euphoria boosted its earnings into the highest echelons of modeling. She designs lingerie collections for Etam and shoes for Centro. She is an ambassador of the Sochi 2014 Winter Games and founded the Naked Heart Foundation, which builds playgrounds in downtrodden urban areas in Russia.

Another Brazilian beauty Adriana Lima is on the list as number 4 with $7.3 million earnings. She is under the agency of Marilyn New York. She is famous for being an Angel for Victoria Secret but her appearance in two Super Bowl commercial made a big splash for this year. Her endorsements with Donna Karan and Mavi Jeans also makes up her earnings. Doutzen Kroes a native from Netherlands is on the fifth list with $6.9 million earnings. She works for L'Oreal, Tiffany & Co and Victoria's Secret as one of the Angels.

Alessandra Ambrosio is on sixth spot with $6.6 million earnings. She is one of the Brazilian models who invade the modelling world in late 90's. She is also one of the Angels in Victoria Secret and the first spokesperson for Pink line. She models for Brazilian fashion brand Colcci, with Ashton Kutcher, and Brazilian jewelry company Vivari. The sweet faced Australian born supermodel Miranda Kerr is on the seventh list as the highest earner with $4 million. The wife of actor Orlando Bloom works with Victoria Secret in 2008 and now one of the Angels. She launched her own brand of products, Kora Organics, in 2009. Many cite her prominent dimples as one reason for her success. Last January 2012 she was named ambassador for Qantas.

Lara Stone is on 8th spot with $3.8 million earnings. She is the second Dutch supermodel to make on the top ten list highest paid model. Her gap-toothed smile and stunning curves have set her apart from other models. Stone has contracts with Versace, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Prada, and Mercedes Benz. Carolyn Murphy is on the 9th spot with $3.5 million earnings. She is the face of Estee Lauder since 2001. She also works with Ann Taylor and Tom Ford. South African supermodel Candice Swanepoel is on the 10th spot with $3.1 million earnings. She is famous working as an Angel for Victoria's Secret and one of the most active young angel. She is the youngest model made to the top ten highest paid model at the age of 23.
