It’s Movie Week on “Duets” for the six remaining singers.
The girls – Kelly and Jennifer – still have two singers each; while the guys – John and Robin – are down to one singer each. J Rome remains at the top of the leader board.
This week marks the last week for a final showdown. Next week the singer’s lives will be in the hands of the voting fans.
The first couple on the stage was John Glosson and Jennifer with “My Heart will go On” byfrom the “Titanic”. John and Jennifer earned a standing ovation from the crowd for their performance. Kelly thought that it was cool a guy sang the song; adding that John and Jennifer’s voices complimented each other. Robin noted that John sing from the heart and with passion; adding that it looked like the pair had been singing together for 10 years. said the performance was really beautiful and Glosson had a gorgeous voice.
Jordan Meredith andperformed “Take My Breath Away” from the movie “Top Gun”. Robin said that Jordan had a lovely voice. Jennifer said that Jordan made the song hers; adding that Jordan looked her most comfortable. John said the song was beautifully arranged; adding that Jordon and Kelly’s voices sounded nice together.
Robin’s remaining singer Olivia Chisholm performed “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees from the movie “Saturday Night Fever”. Robin opened the performance wearing a white suit likewore in the movie. John Legend said Olivia sounded more powerful; adding that the pair looked good together. Kelly said it was her favourite performance so far. Jennifer said the pair did great; adding that she loved the song choice.
John Legend and his remaining singer Bridget Carrington performed thehit “What’s Love got to do with It”. Kelly loved the performance and was entertained but felt the melody was linear and didn’t go anywhere. Jennifer said she forgot that she was supposed to be judging the performance; adding it was a perfect song for Bridget. Robin said it was Bridget’s best performance and she sounded like a superstar.
Looking to continue his chart topping ways, J Rome and Jennifer performed “I Will Always Love You” from “The Bodyguard” by Whitney Houston. J Rome began the performance a’ cappella. After the performance J Rome said it was the biggest highlight of his life. Kelly could only say that J Rome was so good an she loved him. Robin noted that there was a reason J Rome was number one every week; adding that J Rome was an amazing performer. John said the performance was beautiful and really awesome.
The final duet performance of the night was from Jason Farol and Kelly Clarkson who performed “Come What May” from “Moulin Rouge”. Robin said that he loved Jason’s voice and personality. Jennifer said it was a great performance and noted Jason’s talent diversity. John said Jason looked great and the performance was cool theatrically.

In the last final showdown both of Kelly’s singers – Jordan and Jason – had to sing a’ cappella for their lives. Jason sang “Mamma Knows Best” and Jordan sang “I am Telling You”.

Next week the voting will be in the hands of the fans as the singers and superstars take on the music from the last decade.
