Queen Elizabeth wore a baby blue ensemble with a matching baby blue hat with netted overlay and bow detailing, pearl and diamond earrings, her multi-strand pearl necklace and an aquamarine and diamond brooch.
Prince Philip was also attending today despite his recent health problems, looking dapper attired in a dark grey suit, pearl grey vest, deep pink necktie and tophat.
Princess Eugenie attended in a deep turquoise dress with black leaf detailing over the shoulders, accessorized with a pillbox hat, while Duchess Camilla looked her demure self in muted tones of cream and ivory, with matching straw hat as well as her favorite pearl and diamond choker and pearl earrings, while husbandwore a grey suit with matching vest, white shirt and tie and tophat – a trusty umbrella at the ready!
Some of the most memorable hats and outfits included one woman who wore a purple dress with a purple crown hat and rhinestone crown brooch, trying to get into the spirit of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee no doubt!
A pair of attendees dressed in their red and cobalt blue dresses, respectively, wore hats with champagne flutes and a champagne bottle in a bucket – very creative indeed – Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone (from Absolutely Fabulous series) would’ve been proud...
Crisp white azaleas cascaded as a headpiece for one attendee who looked quite elegant in her black and white ensemble, while another lady with equally prominent flowers – huge pink roses – chose to make a collection of birdcages as her perilous “hat!”
Sofia Hayat was wearing a vinyl record themed hat with a matching record handbag, while Lydia Bright was the Lady in Red with a swirled netted red fascinator.
