Faith was paired with new Drag U professor Latrice Royale
Shana was paired with Manila Luzon
Before the girls get started on their transformation, they will go through drag orientation with their professors.
RuPaul challenges the girls to create a quick drag look in only five minutes.
Time for the dragulator where the women meet their alternate drag selves…
Hilary is Tatiana D’Amore
Faith is Elantra Sizzle
Shana is Callie Tropicale
The first lesson is a Lady lesson from the Dean of Drag Lady Bunny with a little help from makeup artist Anton on how to create the perfect smoky eyes.
The girls have only 48 hours to create their drag transformations and perform on stage; it’s time to get to work on that new look.
Along with their new drag transformations, Drag U President RuPaul presents the girls with looks for everyday drag. As a homework assignment each girl gets to choose one of the two different looks. RuPaul told the girls, “we are all born naked, the rest is drag.”
Next its dance class with choreographer Flex as the girls prepare for their performance to “I Will Survive” by Glorida Gayner.
Drag U President RuPaul met with each of the girls in his office privately.
Time for draguation with a runway walk, an oral exam, and a kip sync performance in front of the girls’ friends and family. Joining RuPaul as judges are Lady Bunny, Flex, and guest judge actress Donna Mills.
After the performance and a judge’s deliberation, the winner of the premiere episode of “RuPaul’s Drag U’ was Callie Tropicale.
Next week it’s heroes week.
