Tahrir Square, Cairo Egypt- Anti-Shafiq Protest May 28, 2012

To denounce the electoral commission's decision to schedule a run-off presidential ballot on 16-17 June, following the peaceful conclusion of the first round of elections on 23-24 May. Since no single candidate secured a majority in the initial polls, the second round is set to be contested between Muslim Brotherhood (MB) candidate Mohammad Mursi and Shafiq, who in 2011 served as prime minister under ousted former president Hosni Mubarak (1981-2011).
