Nicole Farhi features shortie pajama separates for Spring/Summer 2013 menswear

Designer Nicole Farhi presented her Spring/Summer 2013 menswear collection as part of London Collections: Men at The Gallery at Conduit Street on June 17, 2012 in London, England.

For those of you who’ve flirted with the idea of wearing a particularly pretty pajama top as a shirt or blouse, Nicole Farhi models were stylishly teaming such shirts with suits and separates – have no fear – it’s doable!

In fact Farhi offers shortie pajama suits, which she has pulled together with a very stylish striped jacket in burgundy and pale pearl grey, teamed with black oxford shoes and black socks – but seriously, what’s the garter on the right leg all about?

Farhi’s slim-fitted taupe trenchcoat with shoulder epaulets and single-button closure, which the model teamed with slim black shorts and button-down white shirt and white shoes and socks.

There’s also a selection of long underwear looking Henley shirts and other shirts that are collarless and rather transparent, teamed with shorts made out of the same material, teamed with black socks and oxblood oxfords.

Nicole Farhi is apparently doing a menswear take on the transparent clothing trend for women and to good effect – bravo!
