After spearheading the kick off of a couple of charitable and royal family duties, the Duchess of Cambridge Princess Kate Middleton spared time this Sunday to celebrate Father’s Day. She joined a group of children from inner city in Kent, England on a camping trip where she seemed to have a good time. She exchanged smiles with the boys. She chatted with them. She talk about her life as a member of the royal family notably, that of being a princess.

The children built their tents and sat-up campfires in order to develop their confidence and teamwork capabilities and skills. They asked many questions about what is like to live like a royal. The princess told one child, according to people, “It’s very busy and great fun but I am very well looked after.”

And one the questions asked was about Prince William. Teamwork she said, William was very sweet and kind and spoiled her, 8 year old Tigerlily Smith told reporters after chatting with the 30 year old princess.

When Princess Kate hosted a play production for 150 children, she was seen donning a Zara dress and after a couple of days, according to Pop Sugar, she dressed down for the camping wearing Le Chameau boots, Zara jeans and a Burberry top.

Students who participated in the outdoor activity came from U.K education charity Arks King Solomon Academy Primary in North Westminster, London which was supported by The Foundation of Princes William and Harry.

It was noted that “Many of the children here live in flats with no gardens and little area to play,” as Ark spokesperson Lesly Smith told People. However, the camping was a wholesome experience for them.

Indeed, the camping afforded quality time for Princess Kate to unwind from the very busy everyday of a royal. It was a very good break to experience once again, re-energizing and spirit uplifting being in the countryside.

The children’s experiences being with Princess Kate will entail a life time impact for each of them for having felt the humility, kindness and loving care of a princess for children like them.
