Wayne Rooney Ready to make an impact for England at the Euros

Roy Hodgson names 23 man England squad for Euro 2012 Poland & Ukraine | FATV

The Football Association for England has uploaded a video with Wayne Rooney that assesses his thoughts ahead of the match versus Ukraine on friday. Should Ukraine draw or lose against the 3 Lions, both of the co-hosts of the tournament will have dropped out in the group stages. One of the Ukranian players has stated that the match vs. England will be easier than their game played against France. This is not an entirely wise stance to take since it will add more fuel to the English squad's fire who appear to be coming together under new manager Roy Hodgson.

Kickoff will be simultaneous with the French playing Sweden, who are already eliminated. Look for goals to be scored in keeping with the rate of the Euros so far. I wouldn't be surprised if Wayne partners Andy Carroll up front with either Theo Walcott of the Ox filling one of the wide or central midfield slots to support the central midfield duo of Gerrard and Parker with Ashley Young maintaining a spot out wide too.
