The Oklahoma City Thunder vs Miami Heat Game 3 are all set to tip off the 2012 NBA Finals tonight. Few crucial adjustments for Miami coach Erik Spoelstra paid off in starting Chris Bosh on Game 2 and allowing Lebron James established his inside post-up game in favor of his jumpers. More than above, James was a 12-for-12 from the free throw line with 32 points as the Heat held on for a 100-96 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night. He has plenty of support from Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh scoring 24 and 16 points respectively. But the difference maker of the game was the hot shooting Shane Battier with 17 points and was 5 out of 7 from the rainbow line.
Meanwhile, scoring champion Kevin Durant scored 32 points for his Thunder, but missed a short jumper with 9.9 seconds left to tie the game. Oklahoma City's explosive point guard Russell Westbrook finished with 27 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Later on Westbrook was blamed for taking too much shots and not feeading Durant early on as the Thunder point guard finished 10 of 26 from the field. James Harden 21 points wasn't enough either as the Thunder lost thier first playoff game at home.
Young Oklahoma Thunder coach have somthing to say, “I’ve seen all year long a group that’s always committed, that always sticks by one another, that believes in the work that we put in,” Scott Brooks said. “And that’s who they are. It’s not going to change. They’ve always had great ability to bounce back after a tough loss and we expect the guys to come back (Sunday) night with better effort, better play and for 48 minutes.”
Let's see if the young Thunder can bounceback tonight playing in hostile crowd in Miami. Check this page for LIVE BLOG below on Thunder vs Heat score updates and highlights.
