
Actress Yvette Wilson died at 48 on Thursday due to cervical cancer. The actress came into limelight for her role of Andell Wilkerson in the UPN sitcom ‘Moesha.’ She played the role five seasons in a row and also played the same role in the spinoff ‘The Parkers.’ Her cancer was Stage 4 when Wilson died, reported the celebrity news website TMZ.
“F*ck Cancer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh God. My heart is soooo unbelievably broken. I wanna thank all my tweeties for their prayers but God has chosen to take my sister Yvette home,” Wilson’s ‘Moesha’ co-star Shar Jackson tweeted.
