OnRadio, Carol Paul, wife of Ron Paul, talked with the hostess about the issue of their son Rand Paul's endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. With all the hearsay and conspiracies going around on the matter the mother and wife had a few words to clear the air on Wednesday.
A statement that she immediately offered is that, “Ron has not changed in 55 years of marriage (he's)... never disappointed me, has never lied.” She also went on to make points as to why people are so worried about him all of a sudden, for all those years in congress with all the "no" votes. She then exclaimed, “How could people think he could do something like this!” “This,” as in making deals, to sale out... Its absurd, she then said, “He's a simple American Citizen, who loves his country, and wants the best for his country.”
Carol went on to explain how Rand has not talked to her about this decision. Carol seems to think that Rand's logic is in good form and that he is simply trying to work with the system regardless of the difficulties of the system – she sees the flaws in this but seems to give Rand the benefit of the doubt. “I know when he's ready he'll call me,” said Carol sweetly. Carol simply concluded that she is not worried about this, yet that she is sad by what all the people are saying about Ron. In fact, Carol went on to say some of the things that are being said on facebook are “atrocious,” and that she doesn't want kids on there.
Lastly, Carol said that the “atrocious” comments alluded to led her to conclude what her mother always said to her, “If people use language that is not acceptable, she would say, 'well that's just poor use of vocabulary, which just shows their education, ...either that or they (you) blame (their) parents.'” She went on to say that she then told her kids, “If you do something wrong it is gonna be on the front page of the paper, and they are not going to blame you, their going to blame your parents.”
Well, blame their parent they have! And its a real shame because I agree with the record of Ron Paul. He is a true patriot that would not sell out on his followers by “kissing the ring of Romney,” as a YouTuber commented about Rand's behavior.
The real shame is how so many so called “followers” of Paul have really turned on him. So much so, that I know these people weren’t even listening to Paul in the first place. Before I continue I must say that Paul never wanted to be a savior, HE WAS AND IS A MESSENGER. If these followers were really student's of Paul's, they would realize that Paul was not a Savior nor was he attempting to fill those shoes. Paul wanted each and every one of his students of liberty to embrace their own power and freedom. Thus, allow no man to rule over one but to rule over oneself – to give ourselves personal responsibly. If you found yourself upset at Ron Paul, you totally missed the point and will continue to unless you wake up and take some personal responsibility.
Who will be your next savior? You might choose many available men and women to fill those unfulfillable shoes. Therefore, many will fail you because they are mere mortals. Your savior is your soul within, your truth is within, all your answers are within – this is the true message of liberty. Wake up, look at your blind spots, and be saved. Do not cower in with the groups, go against the grain and speak that truth within that Ron Paul so eloquently did. Ironically, maybe he is a savior, as an awakening in him has sparked an awakening in many. Will you keep the flame going?
