Pacquiao vs Bradley Second Results: WBO to judge fight twice, Who wins?

The Pacquiao vs Bradley results last Saturday back fired on the three judges who were highly criticized when the judges give Timothy Bradley a split decision victory over Manny Pacquiao. The June 9 bout results in Las Vegas, judges scored it; Jerry Roth's 115-113 for Pacquiao, and Duane Ford and C.J. Ross had it for Bradley by the same score. World Boxing Association (WBO) championship committee will judge the Pacquiao-Bradley fight with the WBO's appointed five "recognized international judges" and make a recommendation, as Associated Press reports via Yahoo.

The ruling came less than 24-hours after U.S. Senator Harry Reid, D-Nev. called shots for prove on controversial Pacquiao vs Bradley fight. Boxing fans through out the world were shocked after Bradley was awarded a split decision victory by the judges, where in fact most observers thought it was clearly won by Pacquiao. The Filipino boxer landed nearly 100 more punches than Bradley. Top Rank promotion honcho who promoted the Pacquiao-Bradley fight was very vocal about the outcome, "The public saw the fight and they're outraged, and we need clarity here," Arum told AP, ''We need those responsible to investigate, to see what happened, how the judges could be so off."

It was echoed by U.S. Senator Harry Reid of Nevada who also said, "From all the reports I've seen by people on the outside who saw the fight, who attempted to be fair and judge the fight, Pacquiao won the fight. Now, I understand how upset everybody is," said Reid as quoted by LVRJ. With all the pressure mounting up, WBO President Francisco ''Paco'' Valcarcel finally caved in and said in a statement Wednesday that the WBO's championship committee will review video of the fight with five ''recognized international judges'' and make a recommendation. Valcarcel said further that the WBO does not doubt the ability of the scoring judges, however the paying PPV audience needs some clarity.

Speculation are fogging up fast that WBO and few people from Nevada Boxing Commission might be fixing the fight to set up a more lucrative Pacquiao vs Bradley rematch in November. Both Senator Reid and McCain are planning to inact a law creating federal boxing commission to provide oversight for the sport, which has long battled the perception that it is rife with corruption.
