Wow! I guess the Israelis don't know their history because there are many Jews that are of African descent. The situation is so bad in Israel that I saw this topic being discussed on RT. When Russia believes somebody else is discriminating, then it's pretty bad.
Yeah. There are several different "types" of Jews. The ones running Israel now are Ashkenazis (northern and eastern European). There are others you might want to investigate, including several African variants. As I say in my story (or hint at, anyway) these Jews have been infected with anti-black sentiments for centuries. So what they're doing to the Africans among them in Israel is not really all that shocking. There are several good books on the subject.
This so called Media Report is not only bias, one sided and severely flawed, it is simply incorrect. Any one who knows about Israel and its society knows there is NO way it could be called Racist. About a third of the Jews in Israel are made up of Sephardic Jews- that means NON white, jews from Spain, Morrocco and all over the Middle East. Further more if race was what israeli citizens have a problem with, then how is it that 120 THOUSAND Jews from Ethiopia (aka a clearly black population) live peacefully with no problems of being expelled. No what we have here is an immigration problem similar to the problem in America where thousands of Mexicans illegally cross the border every year. The difference? America is a country of 300million and can technically accommodate the new population without losing its "identity" so to speak, while Israel a country of 8 million who identifies itself with Judaism and can only do so as long as the population remains mostly Jewish. Another problem? Where as the US can deport the illegal immigrants from Mexico, israel feels they cannot deport the Sudanese without fearing their lives at risk. So one could imagine that citizens of a country get upset when their towns start to become over run by illegal immigrants who are unable to work legally and bring violence, gangs and brothels to the city. I have been to Tel Aviv and seen for my self the hundreds of Sudanese who have come here to seek refuge but have found they are bored, cannot find jobs, and still can't make ends meet (though at least they aren't being persecuted). PS no other country around has even allowed these immigrants to come into their country without a bullet in their head- hence why they come to Israel, a country who values all life. The Nazis called for CLEANSING of an entire population: as in killing every Jew on the face of the earth. Let us not confuse that with Israel: a country who is simply trying to keep its country's Jewish Identity by making sure the population remains majority Jewish. Believe me, as a Canadian who has had a hard time being in the US, country's are definitely allowed to have rules about who they let in and who gets to stay.
Israel is also a limited country. People try and ignore it, but the United States is primarialy a desert country west of the Mississippi and what that land can sustain is limited in a significant way. Israel is even more limited and with global warming going strong, the dead sea has become unusable for most purposes. Humans will have two choices in the near future.. desalinization, or controlling their population. Desalinization is very expensive.. they ARE attempting to control their population as the United States, and all arid countries should do. You cannot turn around and allow millions of illegal aliens to walk in and take the assets you have reserved for long term use (what a pleasent idea in a countries position) by the population.

But! Look at some of the videos surrounding this piece. If this behavior is not "racist," then why do so many of the "protesters" refer to the Africans as "Niggers?" Why do they drag out all of -- and I mean all -- of the tired stereotypes about black people: You know, we're lazy, don't/won't work; we're over-sexed and sexual predators to boot. Also, I've never been to Israel, as you have. But, I have been black a very long time, and know white supremacy/white racism when I see it, experience it. This is white racism writ large, open, blatant, in-your-face, and they don't give a damn who knows it.
Finally, yeah there are distinct parallels to America's so-called "immigration" problems. There were neighborhood tensions because the government did not act quickly to remove the illegal aliens and yes, nine people were arrested for doing as your vocabulary suggested they did. As I've mentioned before here. This piece is surrounded by videos, newspaper articles, magazine articles, ezine articles, etc., etc. Read or view them for yourself. You've got little old Jewish ladies in the streets of Tel Aviv yelling at other Jewish women who object to the treatment the Africans are undergoing, saying "You want some nigger dick! That's why you support them!" That, and much more, was said on the street while Jews were beating, burning, and cursing Africans. Do some reading.
People are people and I am by no means saying that no one in Israel has a race issue. But imagine if your city, as parts of Tel aviv and all over Eilat have been, is literally infiltrated, yes, infiltrated, by such a large number of Sudanese refugees that not only does the housing market in your area go down and you lose a lot of value in your property, but gangs and brothels and yes, shooting become common enough that security measures are so heightened you would not believe and you don't feel safe walking out alone at night anymore, let alone your children.
It is unfortunate that many of these refugees have turned to this type of behavior, but that is what it is, for a number of reasons which I wont go in to. Now can you imagine, what people in this state of life would feel? I am by no means excusing their behavior in racist name calling, but if we were to look a little more deeply at why they protest and why they say what they say, maybe we'd realize it has nothing to do with race. These refugees just HAPPEN to be black. The point is the situation. And when people feel their space threatened they are at times irrational.

After you have looked at all the videos this site offers, and all the articles that are available with all that I could find online, the issue is not racism by the Israelis. There is an enormous.. enormous cultural difference between the Sudanese and the Israelis. The expectations of the Sudanese culture and the Israelis is coming to play here, and nothing has been said about the expectations of the Sudanese. It astonishes the dickens out of me that that number of people got into Israel without some sort of notice by the authorities.. and they did nothing? But there they are, and they want JOBS. They are being maintained and it has to be enormously expensive to do so. If there are not now great frictions between them, there should have been. This article assumed the friction was racism and it is not. Racism is blatantly a stupid idea for the Israelis as well as most educated people. I do not believe the Sudanese got there by taking a bus into the Country from the Gaza.. or some such thing. They had help, and the intent was to embarrass the Jews. But the rules apply: they do not have the job skills to work in Israel and nothing in the world suggests the Israelis should support them. I do believe the United Nations should support them in cultural conditions similar to their own, and that should be the direction of the efforts of the world within the United Nations. We want them in similar cultural conditions because that is where they might find jobs with their employment skills. I don't think there is another way, and certainly, no one is presenting another way.
