Apple on Monday introduced its next-generation MacBook Pro at the company’s annual conference. The company's CEO,, described the new model as the most beautiful computer that the company has ever made.
As reported by Ars Technica, the new MacBook Pro is .71 inch thin and weighs just 4.46 pounds. It has a retina display, which measures 15.4 inches across, and has 220 pixels per inch.
During the conference, the company also showed photos and videos of the latest model, which has a quad-core i5 or i7 processor from Intel, an HDMI port and USB 3.0 /USB 2.0 ports. The battery life of the new laptop is far greater than its other models. It is estimated that the MacBook has at least seven hours of battery life. These advanced specifications will help enrich the system with better graphics and also increase its processing speed.
CEO Tim Cook made his first keynote speech at the event. During his presentation, he elaborated the meticulous changes that had been introduced in the new Apple laptop. He also said that all the employees and stake holders of Apple are trying to reach new heights of success by producing world’s best technology.
Apple marketing genius Philip Schiller said that the new “MacBook Pro has advanced Retina Display. Its Prices will start at $2,200 and orders will begin shipping immediately." He then explained that the the operating system featured deeper integration with iCloud, Apple's remote storage offering, including iCloud-optimized apps, notification center and iCloud tabs on the Safari Web browser.
Apple Senior Vice President Scott Forstall, who is in charge of the company’s mobile operating system, the iOS, introduced the newest version, the iOS 6. He revealed that the latest operating system has a unique and accurate voice-recognition system. According to him, this advanced voice-recognition system will help users open applications and access more information easily.
