It is amazing how youths and maybe girls near Sheffield library try to queer bash any innocent person nearby then yell 'psycho' as if fit to label anyone they dislike. They use power like people do near the art gallery , walking fast, talking hard, as if money is hard business. I have to try to keep calm and nearly hold my head , the library is so potentially violent.
Then you hear those outside mention the long forgotten name 'police' as if old norms of public behaviour, detecting roughing about, violence, and abuse as undesirable, are at long last returning. For so long those who are moral and innocent have taken stick, as if a public offence, or unfit to be born as a moral offence. I have heard staff murmur after I booked Sheffield library computer had anyone caused problems? Yet the atmosphere is so hard and cutthroat your head does not feel safe, that is the behaviour of clients rather than staff.
Will mention of police make the brainwashed realise the arrogant ones in the streets are not right in how they appraise passers by? Will respect for good behaviour, and such victimising stop? Who knows? Innocent social victims are at present protected in some cases for their money like criminals, as if they are standing hard up against what is the establishment, allowed money alternatively as those in jail are, under human rights that the rejected have to be allowed survival. Will it improve? Will good behaviour get respect again? With occasional detections of groups of Neo Nazis, and powers that be going softly on them, who knows what other ideologies may crush the law abiding? Will we end up with an oligarchy where moral dissenters and pulverised are put in prison, horrified of what they are living in? It is to be hoped not.
