Republicans Governorand Scott Walker are warning GOP presidential hopeful that if he wants to win the White House in 2012, he needs to do more than just attack President Obama.
Daniels told Fox News on Sunday that Romney needs to put out a plan for the future and not just dwell on what Obama has done in the past.
Daniels said Romney needs to "campaign to govern, not just to win."
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, coming off a win in last weeks recall election also had some advice for Romney.
"The 'R' next to the name cannot be just about being Republican. It's got to be about reformer," Walker said.
Walker's comments referred to a statement by Romney that boasted of getting rid of firefighters and teachers as a positive change in Wisconsin. But the American public as a whole does not support cutting teachers and public safety workers like police and firefighters.
There has been much debate of what, if anything, should be taken as a message from the Wisconsin recall elections. Some believe it was a forecast of the 2012 presidential race, while others suggest that it amplified the deep sense of division in America over the effectiveness of austerity measures against a restless and shrinking middle class.
