66th TONY AWARDS RED CARPET PHOTOS AND WINNERS

The 66th Annual Tony Awards at the Beacon Theatre on June 10,2012 in New York were attended by actor and actresses nominated on this annual award giving body.

On the red carpet other celebrities also attended to grace this annual recognition to the achievers in the field of Broadway theatre.

The TONY awards is the highest American theatre honor as equivalent to Academy Awards for a motion picture, Emmy awards for television and Grammy awards for music .

Among the winners are Christopher Gattelli, "Newsies" for Choreography, Martin Lowe, "Once" for Orchestration, Enda Walsh, "Once" for Musical in a book, Judith Light, "Other Desert Cities" for best pefroamance by an actress in role play,Clive Goodwin, "Once"for sound design of a musical, and Michael McGrath, "Nice Work If You Can Get It" for best perfomance by an actor in a musical role.

Darron L. West, "Peter and the Starcatcher" for a best sound design in a play, John Tiffany, "Once" best director in a musical play, Mike Nichols, "Death of a Salesman" for best direction in a play, Paloma Young, "Peter and the Starcatcher" for best custome design for a play, Christian Borle, "Peter and the Starcatcher" for best actor performance in a play, Gregg Barnes, "Follies" for anest custome design in a musical and Judy Kaye, "Nice Work If You Can Get It" for a best actress performance in a musical play.

Donyale Werle, "Peter and the Starcatcher"for best scenic design play, "Newsies" for best original score for a music or a lyrics,Bob Crowley, "Once" for a best lighting design in a musical play, "Death of a Salesman" best revival in a musical, Natasha Katz, "Once" for best lighting design in a play, "Clybourne Park" for best play and Jeff Croiter, "Peter and the Starcatcher"for best lighting design of a play.

"The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess" for best revival of a musical, Steve Kazee, "Once"for best performance as an actor for a lead role(musical), James Corden, "One Man, Two Guvnors"for best performance as an actor for a lead role(play), Nina Arianda, "Venus in Fur" for best performance by an actress in a lead role(play), Audra McDonald, "The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess" for a best performance as an actress in a lead role(musical) and best musical award goes to "Once."

"Once" was the most awarded for tonight's annual awards.
