Thoughts to "Ponder", from the Minister's Temple:

"Sometimes I think that we are all liken to fallen angels, or descendants of ...sort of liken to The story of Icarus, who with his father built wax(?) wings to fly off and escape the "hell" that they were living in..his father told him not to fly too close to the sun, up high, because his wings would melt; but to stay in the middle and he would be OK. Icarus did not listen father and he flew "too high"... melted the wings, then fell to the ground.... Just like Icarus, each of us will fall down in our lives. And - just like Icarus, when we fell, we didn't die... so just like Icarus, w have to pick ourselves up see where we are, then build a new life helping others who might fall in the same sokt, or make the same mistake, Or - who didn't listen to, or were not told by their "fathers".

We started falling when we started to walk, when we were therefore born. We don't all fall in the same places, or in the same circumstance. Our minds, ours souls each calculate circumstances in our lives and put into place in our thoughts and minds sort of like our own fairy tale... but when we do fall, we can maybe put the sentiments, the symbolism into possibly the following thoughts, which are in the form of a Poem... I hope it touches you in whatever way the "universal Source of Life/or God" leads you to understand.

Enjoy!!!

How Angels Fall - by Rev. Mary, A.V.A.L.O.N.(Advent of Victorious Angels Loving Our Neighbors)

I walked to the edge of my world

I looked out across the sky

All I saw was a haze, a mist, a cloud

And as the veil covered my eyes

I seemed to sink inside, and fall

But I never hit the ground.

I cried out to the Father

But He could no longer hear me

I knew then that I was done

My life I then saw like a flicker

In the back of my minds eye

I knew then I’d gone too far

With a jolt of my body in fear

My invisible cord still attached

To my Mother from in here

She somehow felt my fear as I fell

And reached out to stop the fall

But her arms ached in pain

And she could not recall

All the things that led

Her daughter to ultimately fall

And could not reach out

Because of her pain

So prayed up above

For their daughters fate

To bring her back home

Where she would belong

High up looking down

Where the big picture

Is not just of our little town

Then I remembered Alice’s fall

And reached out and flew

Some how I rolled

On to the soft green grass

On the mountain I had visited last

Where my father’s spirit flew by

And on the wings of a dove

Then saw I had flown higher somehow

So my fall was not a fall at all…

It was a leap of faith and a wish

From our father above

That was whispered in the wind

From spirits on high with all of their love

Watching us for ever, for years

And waiting for the chance to swoop down

And save their little angel and send her in the right direction

So she might land where there are to find

The spirits of her “kin”

And others of her kind
