Egyptian ousted leader Mubarak on a respirator in jail

Egypt's former president Hosni Mubarak has been put on a respirator by the prison doctors after experiencing a series of tantrums. The incident results to drove up his blood pressure and affects his breathing.

The officers of the Torah prison of Cairo where he is jailed for life forced to call the medical specialist for his deteriorating condition. They have to administer oxygen five times before his breathing stabilized. A request to transfer him to a non-prison hospital was now being considered, they said - a step that could anger Egyptian protesters who have already taken to the streets to denounce the acquittal of senior officials charged alongside the ousted president.

The ousted Egyptian leader suffers profound depression after his conviction on killing charges. An incident that he only eats as his son Alaa feed him who is also on jail.
