The peace efforts of former UN secretary Generalare not producing the desired results and another massacre of 100 persons (20 women and 20 children) has occurred in Syria as reported in skynews dated 7th of June 2012.
The massacre has taken place in the village of Al-Kubeir, in the central province of Hama as informed by Mohammed Sermini who is a spokesman for the exiled opposition Syrian National Council.
Once again the fingers of suspicion are pointing towards forces loyal to President Bashar al- Assad of Syria. However, the official line of the Syrian government continues to be that these are the handiwork of terrorist groups.
This massacre would be the one of the worst atrocities in the last 15-months of uprising in Syria.
