It’s the semi finals on “America’s Best Dance Crew” and it’s the boys versus the girls with the youngsters of 8 Flavahz, the boys of Elektrolytes, and the dance teachers of Mos Wanted Crew.

This week the crews danced to the music of superstar DJ David Guetta.

First up was Mos Wanted Crew with a routine that JC said was something very special filled with control, musicality, and owned each step. He said the performance was a bout attitude and musicality. D-Trix said the routine was the best choreography of the entire season and the crew deserved to be “America’s Best Dance Crew”. Lil Mama said it was the crew’s best performance of the season.

The youngest female crew ever to take the ABDC stage 8 Flavahz survived the bottom two and the battle last for another chance at the title. D-Trix had to wait for the cheers and screams before he could speak. D-Trix was very impressed with the routine calling it absolutely amazing. Lil Mama said the girls DANCED. She added that 8 Flavahz definitely has what it takes to be “America’s Best Dance Crew”. JC said the girls were smart by performing moves the other crews cannot do; adding that it was a fantastic performance.

Last up were the boys from Arizona – Elektrolytes with a performance Lil Mama said was explosive and they deserved to be “America’s Best Dance Crew”. JC said the crew gave him chills and blew his mind and was a barrage of energy. D-Trix said that he knows exactly how the crew members feel and thinks the crew wants to win the competition more than any of the other crews.

The three crews unite for a massive group performance to “Titanium” by David Guetta.

The crew that got the most votes of the two million cast last week was the girls of 8 Flavahz. In order to be the second crew in the finals, Mos Wanted and Elektrolytes must square off in a street crew battle performance on the stage at the same time with two 30 second rounds. D-Trix said Mos Wanted was the most memorable crew on the show and thanked them for bringing back choreography and evolved real dance. JC said Elektrolytes said the whole crew attacked and moved like a wave across the stage; adding that they caught everyone’s attention. Lil Mama noted that both crews came out prepared.

After deliberations during the break, the judges picked the final crew to perform in the finals in a live performance next week.

The crew that was eliminated one week short of the finals was…

…Mos Wanted Crew!

Next week 8 Flavahz and Elektrolytes will battle it out for the title of “America’s Best Dance Crew” and the $100,000 prize to the music of Katy Perry.
