Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick put an impressive third shutout of the postseason as the Kings beat New Jersey Devils 4-0 Monday night to take a commanding 3-0 series lead in front of a sold-out Staple Center arena.

Quick shutout also recieved plenty of support with Anze Kopitar, Alec Martinez, Jeff Carter and Justin Williams each scored with a goal. After the game Kopitar said, "We're a confident group right now, As we all know, the fourth one is the toughest one. We want to make sure we're ready for the start on Wednesday, try to get another win." If it's true the Kings is about to end the Los Angeles long suffering hockey fans by giving them the Stanley Cup trophy in a 45-year championship drought.

The New Jersey couldn't convert on its 6 powerplay chances in Game 3 certainly won't give it easily without resistance tonight as Devils coach Peter DeBoer said. ''I think we played better than the situation indicates, but that's hockey. We have to persevere here, and stick with it and find a solution.''

Los Angeles Kings who needed overtime goals to win the first two games in New Jersey got another boost from the return of left wing veteran Simon Gagne, who will add playoff experience including his trip to the 2010 Stanley Cup finals.

The Los Angeles Kings are one win away from raising the Stanley Cup for the first time in 45 years. Check this page later for Devils vs Kings live score and highlights.
