
Before the start of the Eastern Conference Finals, pulse says that Celtics might be too old to beat the Heat- this prediction made the East championship more appealing after three games now that Celtics is just a game away from officially representing the East to the NBA 2012 Finals.
With 3-2 lead after 5 games, home court advantage will definitely play a big role this coming Thursday as game 6 will be played in Boston. The 6th game will define how strong Miami is and how they control the Celtics after Kevin Garnett finished game 5 with 26 points and 11 rebounds while Pierce contributed 19points.
The heat leading scorer and star player James finished doubles with 30 points and 13 rebounds yet had lame 8 minutes in the fourth quarter wherein he wasn’t able to make any goal.
Game 5 started favouring Heat on the court but Boston was able to tied the game in the third quarter then was left behind again after Battier had a three pointer. Leading the game with 9 points, the Celtics came back with a strong 15-1 run to gain the upper hand to start the fourth quarter. And as all story ends, it has been a good and happy ending for Celtics fans out there while Miami’s chance of getting into the NBA finals this year is getting slimmer. The Eastern Conference champion will definitely face Oklahoma or Spurs this coming June 12 for the 2012 NBA finals game.
