5th Myanmar Business Conference in Yangon

Two key Myanmar (Burma) legislations anchoring Foreign Investors will be addressed at Conference in Singapore

Myanmar Foreign Investment Law and the much anticipated Condominium Law will be addressed fully at the 6th Myanmar Business Conference in Singapore on 16 & 17 July 2012.

Myanmar Foreign Investment Law

Mr William Tan, the organiser of the Myanmar Business Conference series said, “Businessmen from all over the world will be briefed by a senior official from the Union of Myanmar Attorney General Office which is equivalent to the Ministry of Law on the Foreign Investment Law”. These two legislations will be of especially great interest to Corporate Lawyers, Accountants, CEOs and other participants. At this conference, they will gain valuable first-hand information on this important piece of legislation.

Myanmar Condominium Law

William added, “The question on foreign ownership of residential properties will also be discussed in length which is governed by the new Condominium Law.” Property developers and contractors looking to invest in development will need to know this new legislation as it defines what constitutes a condominium. The senior official will also touch on many issues concerning foreign investors in the private housing projects in Myanmar.

All legal aspects of doing business in Myanmar (Burma) will also be thoroughly deliberated on.

As with all the Myanmar Business Conference series, delegates can expect to develop “genuinely useful contacts that can help with your investment plans. The presentation packages have also been an invaluable resource” said one of the delegates of the 5th Myanmar Business Conference.
