'Snow White and the Huntsman', don't put Kristen Stewart on a horse

Snow White and the Huntsman made 56.3 million dollars over the weekend, making 20 million more than what it was expected. Men In Black 3 was second and The Avengers came in third. Snow White.. stars Kristen Stewart as Snow White, Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen, Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman and Sam Claflin as the Prince.

Like the cast has said in countless interviews, Snow White and the Huntsman is darker than the classic tale, the Disney movie and the most recent Snow White film, Mirror, Mirror, that was released in the Spring of 2012.

Stewart surprised audiences with her portrayal as a badass Snow White. This is the first movie for her since wrapping up her five film Twilight franchise.

The Breaking Dawn actress has commented in many press junkets that she was uncomfortable riding the horses during Snow White and the Huntsman filming last summer. She said in a few interviews that a part of why she doesn't enjoy horseback riding is having to hit the horse to make him go, telling him what to do. In Snow White... audiences can tell how uncomfortable she looked during the horseback riding scenes. Stewart looked unnatural in a few horseback riding scenes.

Stewart discussed the challenge of the horseback riding scenes during an interview with OnTheRedCarpet.com, "I had a great double - my stunt double did a lot of aweome stuff, but the horse thing, man, it's just so powerful, these animals, especially the charge down the beach in the armor, with 100 horses behind you. I would rather hang out and watch them sort of like prance around a pasture. They're beautiful and I don't like telling tem what to do," she said.

Besides the silly looking (at times) horseback scenes Snow White... was a beautfiul aesthetic movie with Stewart and Theron being phenomenal in their respective roles.
