Queen Elizabeth II, husband Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh and their family joined Londoners in celebrating the Diamond Jubilee Thames River Pageant on June 3, 2012 in London, England.
Joining sons Prince Henry and Prince William, William’s wife Kate, also known as Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, on board the royal barge, the Spirit of Chartwell, the British royals sailed the River Thames, surrounded by a flotilla of a 1,000 boats accompanying them.
Thousands of well-wishers from around the world have come to London to witness the spectacle of this weekend's Diamond Jubilee celebrations to recognize the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s ascension to the throne.
Queen Elizabeth II wore a white dress with gold and silver embroidered dots, topped off with a matching knee-length coat with ruffled edge, accessorizing with a white hat with feathers over the left side, pearl earrings, pearl necklace and brooch over the left shoulder as well as black pumps and her black Launer Royale handbag.
Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, wore an ivory colored ensemble accessorized with a matching straw hat, a multi-strand pearl choker and a matching clutch handbag. Husband, the Prince of Wales looked quite dashing in his military dress uniform.
Duchess Catherine, the former, wore a long-sleeved red dress with pleated skirt, accessorized with a matching red hat with floral embellishments.
Prince William and Prince Henry each looked quite debonair in their blue and black uniforms, respectively.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie (in their navy and coral dresses, respectively) also joined the festivities along with their father Prince Andrew and uncle Edward, who was there with his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex (who donned a lovely deep coral red coat).
Prince Michael of Kent and wife Princess Michael of Kent were also present, with the prince in his military uniform and his wife in a beige ensemble.
The day’s festivities also included the British royals attending the Diamond Jubilee Street Parties with locals.
