Nebraska crash kills two basketball coaches

Tragedy crash two high school basketball coaches were killed and injured eight players when the team van collided with a pickup truck on a Nebraska highway on Friday as they returned from camp broke , AP reported

According to the Nebraska State Patrol. the Coaches Zane Harvey , 38 years-old was a math teacher, head boys golf coach and assistant football coach. , Anthony Blum, 24 years-old was a business teacher in his first season as head coach. Along with his basketball dutie died, they were driving students home from a basketball clinic in Kearney when an eastbound truck crossed the centerline and hit their westbound van head-on.and the driver of the pickup, 70-year-old Albert Sherbeck , was also killed in the head-on accident.

While Eight students were taken to hospitals, three remained hospitalized and only one was listed in critical condition Saturday, according to the Broken Bow Public Schools, which organized the vigil.

Broken Bow Superintendent Virginia Moon said at a news conference Friday at the hospital. "It was a horrible accident. It will impact the community for a long time to come,"
