
A gunman opened fire in a crowded food court in a Toronto largest shopping mall on Saturday evening. The incident killed one people and seven were injured as the shoppers goes panic as they heard the shooting.
The Toronto Eaton Center which recently renovated with estimated thousands of people at the mall the gunman started shooting. The man who died on the incident was 25 years old and it is clearly indicate that he was a targeted victim. No one was arrested in the Saturday nigh shooting incident. A 20-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy were in critical condition, he said. Two men and a woman were in serious condition, and another woman was “grazed by a bullet” but was not seriously injured. A pregnant woman went into labor and was taken to hospital. Swarms of people watched from outside as an injured man with visible bullet wounds was wheeled out on a stretcher.
Shoppers interviewed by television networks said that purses, strollers and shopping bags were abandoned as people fled. Some people hid under tables in the food court. Several shop workers said they locked themselves into stockrooms during the panic. Eaton Center is popular with tourists and most of the Canadians as shopping mall.
