Another cannibal attacked in Maryland. Alexander Kinyua, 21, was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and second-degree assault. He confessed eating Kujoe Agyei-Kodie's heart and part of his brain, authorities said.
Kinyua's family alerted the police when they saw a tins and found head and hands in their basement. The brother talked to Alexander but he denied the remains were human. Kinyua's brother called his dad to looked at it. They saw that the items were gone and Alexander Kinyua was cleaning the container he observed them in.
Two detectives arrived at the scene and when they asked Alexander he admitted to cutting up the victim with a knife, eat his heart and part of his brain.
"He admitted to killing our missing person, Mr. Kodie, and cutting him up with a knife," Harford County Sheriff Jesse Bane told reporters Thursday. "He further stated that he consumed Mr. Kodie's internal organs -- specifically his heart and portions of his brain."
A public defender represented Kinyua in the court on Thursday. A judge didn't agreed for a bail and charged him.
The victim, Agyei-Kodie graduated at Morgan State University and held several master's degree. He was described as "very intillegent".
