Sherlock Holmes attends Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic!

Actor Benedict Cumberbatch of Sherlock Holmes fame made it over The Pond to attend the fifth annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on June 2, 2012 in Jersey City.

Fashionably donning suspenders with his charcoal grey trousers, a linen shirt and mysterious black sunnies, the modern-day Sherlock Holmes star from the British series, stars opposite Martin Freeman as “Dr. John Watson” and Rupert Graves.

Joining the 35-year-old actor were other A-listers including designer Jason Wu, models Alek Wek (loved the summery cream frock!), Hilary Rhoda and Jessica Stam as well as actresses Zoe Saldana, Tiffani Amber Thiessen, Olivia Palermo and boyfriend Johannes Huebl.

Model Coco Rocha donned a very pretty blush pink chiffon dress, accessorizing with brown pumps, while actress Amanda Righetti looked amazing in her flirty navy blue wrap-over dress and wide brimmed hat.

Polo player and Ralph Lauren model Nacho Figueras was also attending (in navy and white, with a Jim Morrison shirt), with wife Delfina Blaquier in hot pink.

TV personality Padma Lakshmi wore a very bohemian yet stylish white off-shoulder peasant blouse with a long flared skirt, accessorizing with a yellow Birkin style bag that would do Veuve Clicquot proud!

To make their visit to the polo match more enjoyable, Veuve Clicquot also made quite a selection of logo-printed perchandise in the yellow, black and red colors available to include yellow sunglasses, umbrellas, panama hats, baseball caps, flirtatious fans as well as polo shirts and T-shirts.

There were also carry bags, blankets and a Veuve Clicquot Champagne and glasses set in a handy yellow caddy. Enjoy the slide show!
