Unidentified miscreants blew up another high power Transmission line in Jar area of Bajaur tribal region on early morning of Saturday as a result electricity disrupted to the whole agency, local said. Local sources said that at least ten armed men set huge quantities of explosives along the tower of 66,000 KV high power transmission line near the Jar area 20 km from khar the agency head quarter. The explosive devices went off with huge blast, which resulted in complete destruction of the tower, the blast was heard in the faraway areas,” Nasar khan a local resident of the area told this scribe on Saturday. After the blast the levies forces started fired on the spot where the blast was occurred but the attacker escaped safely,” .Jamal khan local resident said The local administration have conformed the incident, an official of the local administration told reporter that the administration has started investigation the destruction of high power transmission tower. The recent explosion of high power transmission tower was a matter of concerned for the administration because that was a second incident of tower destruction in a week,” the official added. The official said that the administration has decided to beep the security of the high power transmission tower a cross the agency and for this purposed more levies forces will be deployed in the sites where the high power transmission were situated. Meanwhile the local administration has launched search operation in the jar and its Surrounding areas and arrested twenty persons. An official of the Tesco told that a technical team has been called for repairing the tower and said that the power supply in the agency would restored very soon . While the Local people faced huge problems following suspension of electricity in the Agency and no group claimed responsibility for the destruction of transmission line This was the second destruction of high power transmission line in a week in the region .
