U.S.Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton described the suspension of emergency law in Egypt with the other positive step on the path to internal transformation in Egypt.
This came in a statements of Clinton during the joint press conference after her meeting with her Norwegian neighbor Honas Story in Oslo, which the text was distributed in Washington.
The minister said: "the new Egyptian parliament allowed yesterday to end the emergency law in the country after more than 30 years of its application .. This law, of course, gave the police sweeping powers to detain people without charge, and the action which was taken yesterday,is considered as an another positive step in the way of internal transition in Egypt "Hillary Clinton
