A number of armed men, at dawn on Thursday, two American tourists were kidnapped while traveling by bus , a tour of Dahab to Nuweiba, South Sinai, after the security forces had arrested some of their militant relatives, because of being accused of a criminal case.

The security source said that the kidnapping had by a group of nomads, and that the hostages are being held near a mountainous area of «the head of Satan».

The incident comes in the context of a series of kidnappings in order to pressure the government to implement the demands of the Bedouin concerning their families on release of detainees who are in prisons

The tourists were abducted late on Wednesday near the resort of Dahab on the Red Sea
