Video: Canada police link Rocco Luka Magnotta in homicide, dismembered body in mails

After a dismembered body was discovered in a suitcase on late Wednesday, Canada police issued a wide-arrest warrant to a model and porn actor, suspected of homicide and mailings of two parts.

Luka Rocco Magnotta, 29, has been named a suspect for this horrible crime. The CTV news reported that he goes by the pseudonyms Eric Clinton Newman and Vladimir Romanov.

The first mail, which police confirmed to have originated in Montreal, contained a bloody foot with a note attached indicating that the sender will kill again, was sent to the Ottawa headquarters of the Conservative Party in Canada last Tuesday. Another package containing a hand was also discovered in a post office later that day but it was not reported where the parcel was addressed.

According to ABC news, it was also on Tuesday when a janitor in Montreal's Cote-des-Neiges neighborhood discovered a male torso inside a suitcase mixed in a pile of garbage. The building’s manager told police that Luka stayed there for about four months and he seemed to be a nice guy.

Authorities had investigated the apartment believed as the crime scene, where some residents also smelled a horrible stench. Things taken from the place were being tested.

Montreal police Commander Ian Lafreniere told reporters that they are yet to wait for the DNA test result.

Police were linking the shocking news to a video posted in Youtube, showing a man stabbing another man and dismembered the body in parts but was deleted on late Wednesday.

Lafraniere is asking anyone who has knowledge of Luka’s whereabouts to immediately call 911.

The suspect is a white man with black hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet 10 inches and weighs about 135 pounds. Refer to the video above so you can have an idea of how he looks like.

Some sources also suggest that Luka was linked to a convicted killer Karla Homolka but he denied the rumor in his interview by the Toronto newspaper five years ago.

However, police believed that the horrifying incident was not related to politics but rather the work of a madman. Let's wait for further details.
