On Tuesday, a Queens’ resident stabbed his ‘abusive’ wife to death; the 68-year-old further claimed she was not ‘feeding’ him. Suffering from Parkinson’s disease, the suspected killer was eventually held by Queens Village Police while investigation was going on.
According to the details, the sources close to the couple said the man who suffered with Parkinson’s disease, stabbed 65-year-old wife multiple times, identified as Shahida Kazmi. However, name of the suspect was not immediately released whom police took into custody on Tuesday afternoon.
Tuesday’s incident occurred in 93rd Avenue, a kind of middle-class residential block in the said Queens Village. It appears that the couple and the house they lived in had no prior history of domestic violence or discord. Meanwhile, at the time of stabbing; the husband and wife were alone at home.
According to police report, the suspect blamed Shahida Kazmi to be abusive and added that being a Parkinson’s disease patient; she was not feeding him well. The weapon used in stabbing, a large knife, was recovered by cops from the home. The matter was still being investigating Tuesday night.
