Anthony Bourdain Calls Paula Deen

Anthony Bourdain his first tweet of the day that says, 'Breaking News' which followed a CNN link. One click leads you to headline, 'Anthony Bourdain Joins CNN to Host New Weekend Program', that fired up enough for Twitter trending topic worldwide. Yes, the controversial Travel Channel host and chef Bourdain is turning another page of his career as food critique by joining CNN. The announcement reads,

“For more than a decade, Anthony Bourdain has been a trailblazer in educating Americans about different cuisines and cultures around the world, as well as an outspoken commentator on social trends ranging from the rise of celebrity chefs to the impact of fast food chains to the spread of vegetarianism and veganism.” says CNN Managing Editor, Mark Whitaker, as he add, “Examining the world through the prism of Tony’s unique expertise and passions continues CNN’s long-standing commitment to international reporting and to promoting global understanding.”

The Anthony Bourdain's CNN show is a weekend program to be launched in early 2013 that will showcase his signature coverage of food and travel. Bourdain show is distined to collide with Sunday Night Football primetime which might divert a small chunk of football fanatics.

As mentioned earlier about Bourdain being controversial on his political views and constantly digging on his Food Network friend Paula Deen. Back in January, Bourdain has some harsh criticism on Food Network chef Paula Deen labelling her as doughnut burger pioneer and diabetes drug seller, in an ABC News report, to which Deen responded to his comments as “very, very cruel”.

The point is Bourdain knows how to sell his "No Reservation" show as he always made controversial comments on months before the Travel Channel show premier. CNN must have seen Bourdain's marketability.
