DPO allegedly threatened to kill editor in Lagos

Segun Titiladunayo, a chief superintendent of police and divisional police officer of Idimu police station, Lagos, southwest Nigeria has allegedly threatened to kill an editor and also wipe out his entire family

Our reporter learnt that the police boss allegedly vowed to kill Sunday Onyewonsa, editor of National Creed Newspaper n for daring to publish what he described as a damaging story in criminal activities in his area.

The editor our reporter on phone that the story entitled Robbers lays siege to Abesan Estate, Ayobo Community groans rattled the DPO, who called him on phone on Tuesday morning twice, threatening to deal with him.

Police spokesman, Joseph Jaiyeoba said he is aware of the matter, promising that it could be resolved tomorrow
