Philippine Chief Justice Corona is 'Guilty' (Photos Inside & Outside the Senate)

(Check It Out! Votes Result & Pictures!) MANILA, Philippines- Here’s the final result of votes during the ‘Impeachment Trial of Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona’ which held at the Senate of the Philippines in Pasay south of Manila on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.

The Chief Justice is ‘Guilty’, according to the result. He became the first high-ranking official in the history of the Philippines which fired from the office through impeachment trial proceedings.

Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona found guilty based on this article of impeachment:

Article 2. Respondent committed culpable violation of the constitution and/or betrayal of public trust when he failed to disclose to the public his statement of assets, liabilities, and net worth as required under Sec. 17, Art. XI of the 1987 Constitution.
