New Orleans Louisiana. The New Orleans Police Department responded to an emergency call from a concerned citizen Sunday evening that led to an arrest of a male juvenile who was carrying a pellet in his front waistband despite the fact he had an ankle monitor placed on him after he was arrested previously for possession of stolen property.
Police officers followed the juvenile whose name and age were not reported by the police to the Times Picayune newspaper as he was walking in a parking lot business in the 1700 block of Carondelet Street until back up police units arrived to surround him.
The police officers stopped him and proceeded to pat him down and they found a pellet gun in his waistband.
The juvenile was charged with illegal possession of a weapon.
