Panetta's Pentagon, Expect Cuts?
The US has reportedly been stepping up air strikes in Yemen over the last few weeks; the war against Libya has been seeing some of the heaviest bombing in the last few days, Iraq asks for a continued presence past the withdrawal deadline at the end of the year. And as we wait for President Obama to make an announcement about exactly what troop withdrawal in Afghanistan is going to look like, Gates continues to tell NATO that there is no rush for an exit. All the more reason to talk about how Leon Panetta is going to handle them once he takes over. Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Shaffer discusses.
