Schumacher on 'very special' pole - BBC F1 2012: Round 06 Monaco Grand Prix

The 2012 Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix are all set today on Monaco 69th motorsport Grand Prix event. Check this page later for Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix Live updates.

Familiar face of drivers were Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix winners like 5-times winner Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso (2x) and Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Raikkonen, Sebastian Vettel, Jenson Button and Mark Webber having won apiece.

We can be certain if another new comers will added in the winners list on Sunday's big event. Looks like the other way around as Mercedez driver Michael Schumacher swats the fastest in Monaco Grand Prix qualifying, but a penalty incident in Barcelona will allow Mark Webber will start from pole position.

So Webber driving his Red Bull starts on pole position, Schumacher's team-mate Nico Rosberg place second and McLaren's Lewis Hamilton will be in third. R Grosjean and F Alonzo will start in fourth and fifth respectively. Schumacher five-place penalty will allow him to start at sixth. To complete the top ten of qualifying will be F. Massa, K. Raikkonen, P. Maldonado and S. Vettel. The 2011 Formula 1 winner was won by Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel.

The Grand Prix will start at 13:00 BST or 8:00 AM ET with the formation lap. The Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix Winners list will posted on this page right after the event.
