American Idol: Jessica Sanchez to work with Tommy Mottola on first album

“Idol” Jessica Sanchez, the proud Latina is about to begin with her first album, which will be produced by Tommy Mottola, former Sony Music Entertainment executive. The news was revealed after Mottola’s wife, superstar singer and actress Thalía posted it on twitter.

“WOWgreat news! #TommyMottola just call me from #AmericanIdol & he is confirm to work in the first #JessicaSanchez CD!#MexicanFilipinoPower,” Thalia tweeted to her more than three million followers.

The 16-year old Mexican/Filipina after her defeat with “Idol” Phillip Phillips said she was so happy and proud of him. Sanchez also told reporters that her experience during the season was amazing!

Mottola currently co-owns Casablanca Records and is set to help launch Sanchez’s music career in a joint venture with Universal Music Group, according to Fox News.

On her being a Latina, the vocally gifted singer said“I’m proud of both of my heritages,” during her interview with Fox News Latino.

Sanchez also dreams of visiting Mexico and the Philippines.

The runner-up idol has some words of advice to all her fans that are planning to enter the music industry. “They must “really work hard and stay humble,” she said.

Sources also revealed that Sanchez and Phillips just got their brand new car. Thanks to Ford motors.
